A thousand years ago, the War of the Gods broke out, and the ancient continent of Harran was invaded by demons. It was inevitable that the Klayan would suffer many casualties with this sudden invasion. Nevertheless, they refused to give up until the end and rallied under the leadership of 27 great commanders to launch a counterattack. After a fierce and protracted war, the Klayan finally emerged victorious, and the demon corps was forced to flee back to their world.
However, the 27 commanders who led the Klayan to victory in this war realized that the demon god Ignis had not yet retreated. To defeat him, the goddess Arche sacrificed herself, becoming a soul that was able to seal Ignis, and at last, true peace was achieved. The Klayan commemorated these commanders, who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the world, by calling them the "27 Ancient Heroes."
Unfortunately, this hard-earned peace did not last forever. The destruction of the continent was only suspended by the sacrifices of ancient heroes and Arche's spirit. As time went by, ominous clouds began to gather upon the continent. The kingdom became corrupted, and Arche's spirit lost its balance, causing Ignis to slowly awaken. At this rate, the destruction of the continent will be inevitable and unavoidable.
Elam, the Great Sage of the kingdom, concluded that the only way to prevent Ignis from awakening was to borrow the power of the "27 Ancient Heroes" once again. Elam successfully reached the souls of the 27 Ancient Heroes, who were sleeping in the abyss, by using the relics of the demons. However, the heroes no longer had physical bodies to bring themselves back to their original form. To summon them, a body that could imbue their souls was necessary.
Already, the kingdom is heading toward doom. Time is running out. The kingdom must find the "Legendary Brave Soul," a vessel that can hold the souls of the 27 Ancient Heroes, before Ignis fully resurrects and regains his power.
Ishtar
"When there is no way forward, cut the enemy in front of you in half. Then there will be a way."
Under Ishtar's leadership, his troops became the tip of the spear. No matter how thick the demons' defense or siege was, all was useless against Ishtar. Ishtar was always the vanguard, opening the way by cutting down the enemies before him...(Expand)
Ishtar was the leader of the storm troopers and the bravest warrior among the Rattlesnakes. There was no one among his people who didn't respect him. This was because Ishtar was always willing to take the lead and smash through the enemy lines regardless of how unfavorable the situation might be.
When the War of the Gods, Harmageddon, first broke out, the demons appeared on the horizon, and the Rattlesnake guards were helplessly attacked, resulting in all of them being wiped out before they could even identify their enemy. Even in this chaos, there was a hero. This hero swiftly collected the soldiers and swept through tens of thousands of demons to organize a retreat for his soldiers. And that hero's name was Ishtar. Thanks to Ishtar, the Rattlesnakes narrowly avoided extermination, and those who survived were able to flee to the Territory of the Dawn Wolves.
Later, the continued demon attacks forced the Klayan Union onto the defensive, often driving them to retreat. Ishtar thought there was no way to win the war only by defending. He recruited some of his brave soldiers from the allied forces and built a guerrilla force.

Senuna
"It's all right. Don't be afraid. You are just going to the world of the gods."
Verteris, the chief of the Panthers, carried a treasure called the Oath Horn. When he blew it like a trumpet, his daughter, Senuna, appeared like a ghost from the shadows. She always found and eliminated the demon commander in the blink of an eye. The demons feared her because they never knew when or where she would appear...(Expand)
Senuna is the daughter of Veteris, the chief of the Panthers. Whenever there was a war, Veteris would take Senuna with him. After invading the territory of the Panthers, the demons had experienced prolonged conflict which made them eager to rid themselves of Veteris, the center of the group. However, Veteris had a treasure called the Oath Horn, and when he blew it like a trumpet, Senuna appeared like a ghost from the shadows. She always found and eliminated the demon commander in the blink of an eye, and the enemy, lost without their leader, were helplessly killed by Panther soldiers. Thanks to her cunning strategy, each time the demon troops attacked, they were severely damaged and left with no choice but to retreat.
Veteris had long wanted to appoint Senuna as his successor, but she had refused his offer every time. She preferred to live freely in the woods and fields with her pet leopards rather than ruling the people or commanding soldiers. One day, while in the deep forest, she saw a young man named Alto on the verge of being killed by demons' attack. She killed the demons on the spot and took Alto to her cabin to treat him. Alto, who did not know who she was, fell in love with her and tried to meet her again. She also became interested in him, so they often met in the cabin after that.
Soon after, Veteris found out about the relationship between them. At first, Verteris didn't care, but he was shocked when he discovered Alto's background. When Veteris was surrounded in battle in his youth, he betrayed one of his men to the enemy and fled alone. Alto was the son of one of the sacrificed subordinates. As the relationship between Senuna and Alto deepened, Veteris, haunted by the guilt of his own past, ordered her not to see Alto anymore, but she strongly rebelled against him.
