# Tragedy and New Opportunities
To the people, his death was a tragedy, but to those with ambition, Aswan will surely have a symbolic meaning in their hearts. This is because Aswan’s rise to the throne meant that from then on, anyone could become the king regardless of their identity, so long as they had sufficient Lykeion royal support.
Once the throne was empty due to Aswan’s death, all those with power who had held a vision of the throne in their hearts quickly began to move. Each of us strived to gather the largest number of royal supporters. The closer a royal to being of pure blood, the more popular they were for their voice carried more power. Even distant relations could gain leverage if they secured enough royal supporters.
Both inside and outside the kingdom, problems that must be solved began piling up. Monsters with hungry eyes circled the kingdom, and the demons would appear at the slightest opportunity to perform the ceremony that would break Ignis’s seal. It was impossible to even predict how many would vie to become the next king. It was the beginning of a new day in which the kingdom would collapse the moment its vigilance failed.
Still, with the kingdom in upheaval and the throne empty, there were opportunities opening for all. And you, who have the ambition to become the lord of this kingdom, will not miss this once-in-a-millennium opportunity.
What is to be the fate of the Klay Kingdom? That depends, entirely, on your actions. Each and every step you take now will become Klay Kingdom history, remembered forever by the generations to come. What history will you leave behind?
