Equipment Succession

What is Equipment Succession?

  • You can inherit additional options granted to one piece of equipment to another.

  • Equipment succession is only possible among the equipment that is applied to the same area, regardless of equipment grade or type.

  • Crystal is used as a material for equipment succession.

  • There is no chance of failure during succession, and the equipment being sacrificed will be destroyed.

Criteria for Succession

1) If you choose to inherit the options from an identical piece of equipment, the additional option values will remain the same.

  • E.g., One-Handed Sword of Apprentice Brave Soul <-> One-Handed Sword of Apprentice Brave Soul

2) When you inherit the options from a different piece of equipment, the values of the additional options may decrease compared to the original equipment.

  • E.g., One-Handed Sword of Apprentice Brave Soul <-> Two-Handed Sword, Staff, or Twin Blades of Apprentice Brave Soul

3) If the maximum number of options for the lower-grade equipment is insufficient during succession between the upper-grade and lower-grade equipment, the number of options for the upper-grade equipment will be retained.

  • For example, if you proceed with the succession between the Rare Two-Handed Sword with 3 options and the Common One-Handed Sword with 1 option, all 3 options will be maintained for the Common One-Handed Sword.

  • When succeeding from upper-grade equipment to lower-grade equipment, the decrease in the numerical values of the options will be smaller.

  • When succeeding from lower-grade equipment to upper-grade equipment, the decrease in the numerical values of the options will be bigger.

Succession Process

  • The Succession Complete window will be displayed once the process is complete.

  • From here, you can view the equipment that has been succeeded as well as a list of the succeeded options.
