# Skill Awakening

## What is Skill Awakening?

* Skill awakening enables you to raise the maximum enhancement level of a particular skill.
* Skill awakening can only be performed on skills that have already reached the maximum level for that particular phase.
* Awakening does not have any impact on attributes other than the level values that can be enhanced.
* Skill awakening involves success and failure probabilities, and the probability of success on the next attempt increases following a failure.

## Materials

* To awaken your equipment, you'll need Gold as well as two types of awakening materials: "Bloodstones of Limitation" and "Bloodstones of Transcendence."
* Both Bloodstones of Limitation and Bloodstones of Transcendence have three grades: Normal, Greater, and Superior. The materials of the same grade are used for awakening at corresponding grades.
* Bloodstones of Limitation can be obtained through general monster hunting, while Bloodstones of Transcendence can be obtained through field boss encounters and dungeon rewards.

* You can open the Skill Equipment menu by clicking the Skill button.

* From the Skill Equipment menu, you can select either the "Skill Growth" or "Enhance" button located in the skill tooltip.
